July 24, 201015 yr Do any of you have trouble with soxtalk freezing up with a driod? It's the only damn site that messes up on me, go figure. Just wondered if you all have the same issue.

Just wondered if you all have the same issue. Not with the droid, but with my Windows 7 netbook. It seems to be related to the scoreboard at the top of the pages. What's weird is that it doesn't happen on my Samsung phone, my Windows 7 machine at work or my Windows XP desktop at home.
July 25, 201015 yr Author I just changed out the default skin so when you log onto the page for the first time, the scoreboard isn't there. It ALMOST loaded, and got to the bottom of the page, and it told me I had to force close the page. Which is interesting, because with the scoreboard, it froze to where I had to take the battery out to reset the phone. Anyway, weirdness and aggravating.
July 25, 201015 yr yep, still freezing sometimes on my netbook even with the new skin. Before I'd get a "shockwave has crashed" type message, but I don't any more. Just freezes up.
July 25, 201015 yr Author Damn it. I will have to see what I can figure out... anyone else able to access? I am using pdanet to tether... it's pretty fast actually.
July 25, 201015 yr Author QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 25, 2010 -> 10:14 AM) No issues with the EVO which runs the android OS. which one? 2.1 or 2.2? I guess 2.2 (Froyo) is getting ready to be released this week for those that have 2.1. It's an over the air update.

July 25, 201015 yr Author Hmmm. What browser? The one that comes with the phone? I was also thinking that it might have something to do with flash... Now, the phone just shuts the browser down. I might try loading opera on it and see if it loads.
July 26, 201015 yr I have a Droid Incredible, with the shipped OS (No idea what version level). Sometimes as its just finishing loading, the browser just closes on its own. Other times, it works fine.

Yes it's free and it just seems to work smoother for me. http://home.dolphin-browser.com/tunny/Home.htm Also has lots of cool, free ad-ons: http://www.appbrain.com/search?q=dolphin Edited July 26, 201015 yr by BigSqwert
July 27, 201015 yr Hey Kap. I ran into the same problem with the stock OS. I use Skyfire which you can download off the market. I believe I tried Opera as well and it loaded easily. Can't wait for Froyo. I've heard great things about improved battery life and overall performance. Edited July 27, 201015 yr by SoxFanForever
