Well, Twins won. 6 spot on Greinke in the first.

Doesn't that just f***ing figure.

Danny "the next twin call up that no one has ever heard of" Valencia just a hit a grand slam off the reigning Cy Young Award champion. UMMM OK

Well, we haven't scored against King Felix since August of 2008.

24 consecutive innings of scoreless baseball.

And the Twins are back...so we need to figure out a way to score somehow, that would be good.

They cheat. Its the only explanation.

Haha, just have to laugh at that. Nice rip by Kotsay.

Hawk overstates it, but you gotta admit Kotsay has been hitting some liners at people for awhile now. Mixed in with his usual consistent badness of course.

The irony is that he got Thome and Cuddyer out with runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs.

Then the slam to Valencia.

And we would have scored our first run in 25 innings if not for that play by Kotchmann, possibly.

Is Kotsay REALLY hitting line shots all over the park and getting robbed? I don't watch all the games from Europe but this sounds like a Hawk and Erstad love affair part deux

This game has 2 hours written all over it.

That was easily the hardest hit ball he's had. Hawk's been overreacting about some pretty routine ground balls and fly outs by Kotsay lately.

And I don't remember Liriano throwing 96 MPH, either.

Once again, evidence that an elbow surgery like that takes 2-3 years to recover from.

HD IS BACK

Awesome...please return swagger.

Even though I haven't seen a lot of the games I just knew it. I mean, cmon, the guy is hitting .220 and we're nearly into August. I don't know how Hawk has the cajones to say something like this...

I wouldn't be surprised if we were a game or two behind Minnesota by the end of the week.

Alexei four for ten in SBs. Ouch.

Didn't realize that Hernandez had a 1.37 ERA in his last 7 starts.

That's dealing. And of course, our odds are what, 36% of seeing him two series in a row like this?

Hey, the Cubs get to face Wesley Wright in two series in a row!

Yes Juan, very clutch!

awesome, good to see them pressing the issue against the King, opportunities may be few and far between

That's already one more run than I was expecting tonight.
