Ty Wigginton

Not to make a thread on every player put on waivers, but this seems plausible considering he can play multiple positions.

.261/.335/.458 batting line, 18 home runs and 60 RBI in 391 at-bats

I'd rather just ride it out with Teahen.

Not a fan of Wigginton.

Good point, Teahan probably fills that role

His numbers are a bit deceiving cause he started the season super hot. 13 of his homers came in April & May, and only 5 since then (although 2 in August already)

If we could have had him before the Orioles series, we'd be a game up on the Twins. Now it's too late.

The Sox said repeatedly that they weren't going to get someone, just to get someone. It was either going to be an impact bat, or nothing. Ty Wiggington is not an impact bat.
