September 7, 201015 yr To get us in one way or the other. To get to 95 wins, we need to go 18-7 over our remaining 25 games. Since we've already won 7 straight, that means basically 25-7 over the remaining 32 games (ouch). But we've done it once already this season, going 26-5 I believe from June 9th through July 15th. 18-7 from here on out is doable. Especially if we can take care of business over the next 12 games against division opponents. To reach 95 wins, each team has to do the following: Yankees 9-15 Rays 12-13 Twins 14-10 White Sox 18-7 Red Sox 18-6 The Twins and White Sox have the easiest schedules of the 5, and the Rays, Red Sox and Yankees all play eachother quite a bit so hopefully the Yankees will beat the other two AL East teams up a bit. I wish we had a cardboard cutout to pull a piece off of for every time we win, ala Lou Brown... The countdown is hereby set at 18...
