i don't know if this has been mentioned before, but ever since harold started helping the team we have been crushing the ball. Thoughts?

The resurgence started before Harold took over, IMO. Guys were starting to come around and correct bad habits really when we started the stretch with the Cubs and Twins. But heck as long as we are winning Harold can stick around

He's helped our team speed, too.

It's just nice to see Harold hanging in the dugout, regardless of his contribution. Another link to 1983. He can tell stories of our 42-13 finish then to win 99 games. (Believe it or not, we're only 1/2 game off the 1983 pace at this point.)

I love having Baines on the bench, and apart of our organization. It's awesome!

I love having Harold Baines around too. I think he and Walker complement each other and they also believe in the Hriniak approach to hitting.

the turnaround can be attributed to one thing and one thing only, and that is jurassic carl

If this year's team does not make the playoffs, it will be one of those "What If?" teams like the 77 team.

There's a LOT of talent on this team, and people will look back at this roster and wonder how the hell this team didn't do more.

Then they'll see the manager and go, "OHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh........"

 

All of this is irrelevant, of course, IF and WHEN the Sox win the Central.
