Personally, I'd never..... EVER..... cheer for the Cubs. s***..... I cheered for the Yankees when the Cubs played them in June. Not to mention, the accomplishments the Sox would have achieved would be overshadowed by the Cubs in the local and nation media.

I have friends that are Cub fans, if I were watching a game with them I'd try to hide my disappointment if they won, than again if they lost.....anyway, i'm not a fan of the Cubs.

The only circumstance I can think of to root for the Cubs occured last night, and even then I was having mixed emotions. I wanted the f***ers to hurry up and win already so I could watch the Sox game, but damn I wanted them to lose. Stupid Diamondbacks.

The only time I ever rooted for the Scrubs was last night cuz I just wanted their 14 inning marathon to end so I could watch the Sox on FSN!

I hate to admit it. I think i get more joy out of a Cubs loss then I do a White Sox win :fthecubs :sosasucks

When the WS was an all-NY series in 2000, nobody outside of NY really cared about it. I wonder if an all-Chicago WS would be any different? I wouldn't mind finding out.
