Why do they still have Ryan Braun then?

I see nothing wrong with this article, he's a bit over confident but he isnt threatening to be upset in public if he doesnt make the team. He is saying that it is his goal to start in the bigs, that seems fair to me.

I talked to Kevin Briand who headed the Jays' Canadian scouting for 10 years about Lawrie, and he said he's a very arrogant kid. But he also said he plays hard and doesn't even consider failure as an option. I imagine he must have liked him because he's still with the Jays (Briand) as a professional scout, and I'm sure AA consulted him first.

 

He's also 20 years old, so it's not surprising if he's a bit immature.

Did you read it? He says he is too good for the minors and he is making the team out of spring training, and if the GM doesn't know it, then he should.

Yep, he lost his sh** after striking out during a game against the Barons this year. At the time, he was leading the SL in hits with almost 140. I heckled him, of course.
