Two guys I'm not worried about are Dunn and Rios. Beckam and Buehrle OTOH . . .

I remember a couple of years ago when MB started talking about retiring, I thought he may be walking away too early.

I dont feel that way anymore.

Yeah, Beckham just got outright man-handled right there...

Don't understand playing the struggling Beckham and Morel tonight against Verlander as opposed to yesterday. I guess Morel for his defense at third with Buehrle pitching, but I don't know.

Sox caught someone stealing go hide in the basement storm is coming!

I'm just pissed that the Sox are losing. In all fairness to Mark, I still believe the guy has enough cunning and guile to get guys out. Alex could've made a web gem catch and the lead would only be 2 runs right now. And if our offense was clicking in the least, we'd be right in it.

Mark still battles and I think he still has plenty to offer, IMO. Beckham just has to figure out how to avoid these prolonged funks.

not often you see JP strike out like this

Pierre with 2 strikeouts. LoL

Losing this game is acceptable. The thing about tht White Sox though is that they pitch to contact and then do not put the defense behind the pitcher to give them a chance to succeed

fatty makes a play!

i just think there's too much pressure on the pitching and defense when the offense turtles like this. They can't be perfect, they need to know that the team is going to score some runs behind them.

Even fat players on the opposition can make great defensive plays but we can't.

Let Pena throw 2.1 innings regardless Verlander will go all 9.

Ugly start by Buehrles. Need to do better than this when facing a division rival.

Pena doing his part.

Tony Pena for closer. :headbang

I am sure Brad Penny and his 8.44 era will shut the Sox down Saturday. OG can make more excuses.

Typical Friday night Sox never in it  game thread.

Under 10 pages.

Ugly as the weather. Not unexpected though, when Verlander is going good.

LOL....TCQ owns Verlander.

Trade Quentin now.

Just kidding, sort of.

41 degrees and raining and the Tigers are not having any problems.

The way Konerko and Quentin are hitting his offense should be much more dangerous.

Here come a meaningless Dunn hit.

Mark needed a much better outing.

White Sox baseball the solo HR.

Please please don't let them tip their hat to Verlander after the game.

CQ is our only hitter with his head screwed on straight. If only we had Dunn, Rios, Paulie(a little bit), Beckham, Ramirez doing the same..
