He's starting off with his hands up at the numbers rather than down at the hips. Changes the bat orientation, trigger mechanism, and swing plane.

Did you really think I thought he was struggling because of his music?

Can't say we haven't been doing exactly what we need to so far. Just nothing to show for it yet.

Shot, Gio has been lucky

He ought to have 1 out in this game.

True dat

Be nice to see Morel keep up what he's been doing.

The only difference between Beckham's HBP and Lillibridge's HBP was the fact that Lillibridges bounced up and hit Suzuki in the Balls, so the ump didn't see it because Suzuki was screaming.

Suzuki's Balls have literally helped save them a run or two.

Man, every ball is either laced right at someone or out of the strike zone.

Incredible

What is our batting average this year with the bases loaded?

It SEEMS like it must be something like .180 or so.

Ump has a tight strike zone

.269 average, .662 OPS. 52 at bats, 41 runs scored. All of those decidedly middle of the pack in baseball.

Even lower, I would think.

Cleveland is hitting .535 with a 1.258 OPS with the bases loaded. Remarkable split. The Angels are hitting .184 with a .401 OPS. The Dodgers are hitting .179. The city of Los Angeles dislikes loaded bases.

Where is pat tabler when you need him

We couldn't be hitting it any better right at guys if we tried.

Can we please hit a line drive that isn't right at someone?

We're doing a nice job of trying to stay up the middle/opposite field.

Juan Pierre: 0-7 with the bases loaded, though he DOES have a walk and an RBI.

Nice AB by Carlos

Pitch 51 struck out Konerko.
