As in stop reporters from tweeting in game? They can't do that...

Any person that is under contract with them Im sure can be oppressed when it comes to talking about the "company."

I'm not sure exactly, but I think they mean by the teams. I can't find a story, just tweets.

If beat writers & teams want to tweet play by play, they'd do themselves a service if they establish a separate feed for that

 

The NFL banned people from mid-game tweeting a while back. I don't see why MLB ought to allow that. Didn't Ozzie get himself in trouble for tweeting after being ejected already?

Big difference between on field and off of field employees.
