If it wasn't for that terrible June, Wilkins would be hitting in the .290's right now. Instead, he has worked his average up to .274 with a fantastic July, and a pretty good August so far. Hasn't been drawing very many walks this month though, and his power is down, but he is getting some hits.

Doug Davis is putting up some real solid numbers in AAA, but then again it's Doug Davis and it's AAA, but it's better he dominates AAA than he can't even compete I guess.

Saladino and Jon Gilmore are both having one hell of a hot streak.

Maybe Gilmore saw my posts about him flying completely open on every swing and corrected that?

Wilkins is also 8 for his last 15, almost all of them singles though.
