September 9, 201114 yr With the way this year has gone, you have to love what Konerko has put up. Plus he is still the type of hitter that is trying to move a guy over on second base and no one out. Those things don't show up in the numbers.
September 9, 201114 yr Konerko is just a great baseball guy all around. He goes out there and does his job. He doesn't complain or cause distractions. He plays through injuries and is a heck of a guy in the clubhouse. On top of that, he's one of the best players this organization has ever seen and has led them to a World Series championship. As a White Sox fan, I'm very happy I got to see him play and I truly appreciate his contributions. PK
