Then, if necessary, bring in the stud closer. Jerry has to be sitting there holding his breath hoping to not need the pen. I'm starting to feel a little sorry for the guy. YASNY Posted August 9, 2003 Share Posted August 9, 2003 Leaving Mark in allowed the bullpen (read Flash and Marte) to have two full days of rest. After the KC series they were both about shot.
