This gives the guys and fans confidence that they can hang with the big boys. I hope we really take it to the Angels. The have been the classic definition of FLUKE this year...
August 11, 200322 yr Hopefully our Anaheim woes are over. Go Sox! I believe they are...I mean, the Angels are like 5-18 since the all star break. They aren't really breaking it out this year. I don't see any less than 3 of 4 in this series going to the Sox. Cotts' game is the only ? in my book so far, as he has yet to face major league batters. Here's hoping this fearless prediction actually happens, and that KC and the Twins beat eachother up.

Earlier in the year, we would have found a way to lose Friday's 3-2 game, and we probably would have rolled over in today's game, scored 1 run, and lost 2-1 or something. But thankfully this isn't earlier in the year.
August 11, 200322 yr CLee's fielding slump lasted only one game. It was no slump. Carlos just is a crappy LF, plain and simple. That play where he fell was an easy play he made hard.
