I saw this pole on chicagosports.com so I thought I'd post it hear to see what people thought. I voted for Loaiza.

Without Loaiza, we're 10 games out. This is a no-brainer.

loaiza is the only guy who has been there since April.

 

Without him, this team would have been buried early.

It's gotta be Loaiza, no question about it.

Lee and Maggs have been great but they cant compare to Loz. Hes kept us in this thing...

I have never seen a poll that is as much of a no brainer as this one.

 

That performance on Sunday was nothing short of fantastic. He is a pitcher's pitcher, whatever that is.

I just couldnt stand seeing carlos not getting a vote there!

Definitely ELo, but Damaso should be a nominee, he'd be my 2nd choice before both maggs and clee.

The poll at CS was running about 85% for Loaiza.

No, this is not Heather, IM a monster carlos fan, if you listen closely at white sox games, im the guy that screams elcaballo at the top of my lungs when he's up, i havnt been there recently though, not in august anyway...

 

 

Without Elcaballo, there would be no drama... field and at the plate. I would barely watch half their games if Carlos wasnt there, but with CLee there, i watch them all....

That was one of the easier poll questions in history. Loaiza has been not only the Sox best pitcher, Not only the al's best pitcher. But he's been the best pitcher in baseball...Period...Name anybody and i'll tell u why Loaiza has been better. He could easily be 17-3 or somethin like that. He's lost 2 gms 1-0 this year. Only one BAD start comes to mind when I think of E-lo. One in May where I think he gave up 5 or 6 runs in 3 or 4 innings against the Mariners. But that's been it. He's given us a chance to win every time out....2003 cy young award winner=Estaban Loaiza...
