Someone on here remembers Corey Jenkins....actually Rex, he was our QB last year, and is now 2nd string MLB for the Miami Dolphins!! Go check nfl.com and look on the DOlphins page....Coaches have been raving about him, he is a great athlete

He was traded to the Sox from Boston by Chris Snopek, IIRC.
August 14, 200322 yr Or they couldn't believe that they were being offered one of the best closers in baseball (plus a left-handed hitting catcher, to boot) for a gimmick fastball pitcher. The A's a masters at this. They screwed the Cardinals with Isringhausen in the exact same way... They pumped up the guy's saves, made him a hot commodity, and then dumped him onto the biggest buyer (who, this time, happened to give them a good pitcher). That's one of Billy Bean's MO's.
