Come on Jake...I can take homers, but throws strikes.

Got Freese there...but Jake is having a really tough time getting guys to chase on 0-2 and 1-2 lately.

I know he doesn't have his control, but the pitch calling remains f***ing stupid. Every single one of those right handers was a changeup away from being struck out and I'd imagine the same was true for Beltran.

 

Parent just does NOT call changeups against same handed batters and it's f***ing stupid. Don't take out your anger about being unable to hit curveballs in your playing career on pitch calling. They're starting pitchers for a reason...they're infinitely more effective when the batter has MORE THAN 2 pitches to adjust to.

You can cancel the postgame show...ADA with a hit.

It's going to be the same old argument that happened yesterday.

 

Let's say Viciedo is going to put up roughly the same numbers as Carlos Lee, be roughly the same defensively or perhaps a tick or so better because of his arm and a bit more speed...it's going to cost at least Viciedo for Greinke, and KW will refuse.

 

They can structure it around Reed/Jones and Mitchell and another piece (Lillibridge), but then that won't be enough.

why was Dunn scratched anyway? Could use that homerun power in this game
