Every series is scary to me in the playoffs. You can outplay another team and lose in 6 with a little bad luck.

It is the NHL playoffs. Any series can be scary. Detroit just did beat the #2 seed and 3rd best team in hockey this year.

I can't believe we as fans put up with them not airing home games (save of course our precious Christmastime matchup against the Wings). F*cking brutal. I'm so glad that f***ing asshole is dead.

It's really something to explain to bandwagon jumpers that home games weren't on TV. Hell, even back in high school, if a Hawks game came up and they would ask what channel it's on or hey maybe I'll watch, I just had the "uh, it's a home game" response, which most people were just like, "OK and?"

Remember being excited when Fox would be able to grab a game in the spring? You'd stop your life to watch that game. OMG THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER, I CAN SEE THE UNITED CENTER ICE.

Two observations

 

1. That wasnt those kids first rodeo.

 

2. Maybe its a cultural thing but it was nice to see the parents not make their way to the ice. Over here the parents would've stormed the ice and most likely would have created a huge melee.

Yeah - we're the same person. The FOX games were incredible. Seeing the Hawk logo at center ice and actually having fans CHEER when YOUR team scored.

At this point, he should be banned.

Despite not being a hockey fan now, when I was as a kid, I hated Red Wings and the Blues, so I'll probably watch some actual hockey for the first time all season.
