Without looking at the boxscore yet, I am going to guess Leyer strikes out at least 7 batters.

Looks like my Leyer prediction will be way off. Only 1 K through 3 IP, 5 ER.

I predict Axelrod starts for the White Sox on Thursday or Friday.

If his ceiling is a 9-hole hitter that can hit .280 and play a decent 2B, then it's better than what we have.

 

Seeing that he's 20, I don't think we know what his ceiiling is yet.

Nice, that's the first I've seen about his 2B defense. Heard good things about 3B, so-so things about SS.

Also, as has been pointed out before, Veal is not a LOOGY. Look at his splits: he's tougher on righties than lefties.
