8/25 games

Trayce Thompson with his 3rd homer already for the Barons. I think that's something like 24 total on the season.

Not sure why Simon Castro was pulled early...he didn't give up a run. Maybe on a pitch count, and he did have 3 walks. Strange season for him.

Castro just returned to Bham from a rehab start at Bristol. Pitch count.

2/3 for Walker. Trying to salvage a rough August.

2/4 for Sanchez.

Kevin Vance has been tearing it up since his promotion. 23 K to 2 BB with a 1.08 ERA in 16 innings since his promotion. Now has 93 K to 30 BB in 96 IP. I'll take that from the 22-year-old.

Ryan Kussmaul had another routine save for Barons in his one weekly appearance. I wish they would pitch him more often.

Third Baseman Herbek at W-S has unusual stats. He started at Kanny, did not hit much, got promoted to Dash, where he has excelled offensively. He has much better numbers at the higher classification.
