September 4, 201213 yr Narrated 2005 World Series DVD Friend of KW Big White Sox Fan, South Side native Oscar nominated actor RIP and hopefully your favorite team finishes off this division for you.
September 4, 201213 yr Seemed like a great guy. To be honest I found the Green Mile a little trite (moreso the story), but it could be worth revisiting. Had a great voice for narration, as most/many of us have said '05 DVD in our collection
September 4, 201213 yr He also played center on KCC basketball team that was ranked #1 in the 80's. RIP
September 4, 201213 yr Author QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 4, 2012 -> 04:54 PM) He also played center on KCC basketball team that was ranked #1 in the 80's. RIP Didn't know that. Thanks. And yes that is sadly Gary Carter. But here is MCD at the 2010 ASG
September 4, 201213 yr QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 4, 2012 -> 04:54 PM) He also played center on KCC basketball team that was ranked #1 in the 80's. RIP I paused for a moment when I found out he played for KCC. Now you're telling me KCC actually was ranked something? I'll be damned. I took summer classes there this year when I was home and all I could think was "Ugh, KCC"

Actuall I think is misleading. I think that it is the NJCAA not the NCAA. I remember DePaul was a top NCAA team in the 80s With Ray Meyer. Maybe even were #1 at some point. They lost to Larry Bird's Indiana State team in the semi's, who, in turn, lost to Magic Johnson's MSU team in the finals. Yikes that's tough competition!
