October 4, 201213 yr Johnson crushed each one of those homers. No doubters. I'd bring him back on the bench next year.
October 4, 201213 yr Johnson's three home run adds insult to injury on the season. I mean before tonight when's the last time a Sox slugged 3 in a game? My guess would be Albert Belle. Dick Allen? Or ? Obviously that's the kind of production we could have used during 'The Great Collapse' Edited October 4, 201213 yr by greg775

October 4, 201213 yr QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Oct 4, 2012 -> 04:06 AM) Konerko hit 3 few years ago. Thanks for the info. Wow. I never realized Paulie popped three in one game.

October 4, 201213 yr QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Oct 3, 2012 -> 10:27 PM) Kalapse any thought about this season at all? It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be, the last few weeks sucked, Chris Sale is a badass, I look forward to watching Viciedo mature as a hitter, it blows my mind that I now respect Alex Rios as a ballplayer, it was a pleasure watching Adam Dunn do his thing and I find Robin Ventura incredibly annoying.
October 4, 201213 yr QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Oct 3, 2012 -> 09:52 PM) Give me Johnson as insurance to Paulie, DH/1B/OF next year. That's exactly what he was this year.
October 4, 201213 yr That's exactly what he was this year. Yeah, except that the Sox got him as that on a minor league deal. They didn't have to carry him on the ML roster before September 1 unless Dunn/Konerko had significant DL time. This time around, there is a good chance somebody is going to offer him a major league deal.
