This is the perfect game to pull Peavy early, save his arm and let Santiago pitch 3-4-5 innings and try to hold the Sox in the game while the offense attempts to put something...anything...together.

Harrelson's Moneyball comments evoked more of a reaction from the fanbase than this game, surely.

 

 

White Sox don't have the Will to Throw Out opposing baserunners this season, either.

 

Preparation and mental readiness...not our strengths in the early going.

The irony is that Gimenez was always hyped as a great defensive catcher with limited offensive potential earlier in his career.

 

Sort of another version of Corky Miller.

 

 

If Dunn put up a 900 OPS for the rest of the season, would he be able to get his overall average OPS back to 800 by the end of the year?

It would be pretty close. Maybe 800 to 825...
