southsider2k5
Billy Koch without a doubt. He has blown more momentum this year. Konerko is a close second, but at least has been hot for a while. Wright wasn't key enough to this season to be considered the worst, IMO.
MurcieOne
Rick White.
Jordan4life_2003
Gotta be Botch. Konerko has somewhat redeemed himself with a strong 2nd half. Wright atleast has that early season injury excuse. So yeah. It's gotta be Botch. If he's 80% of the pitcher he was last year we're atleast 6 gms up in the division...
southsider2k5
Rick White. I'd say Rick White, if he was till here. Now he is vital to the Cubs and Cardinals chances at winning the central, instead of Minnesota and KC's chances of winning the AL Central. cwsox
PK only one vote? somewhere in July 2000 Mags surpasssed 21 GIDP for a season - PK has been no where near the worst of anything, and he has had some big and timely hits. granted, not exactly a banner year but if he makes a big finish, all will be ok. Rios, White, Jimenez, and maybe Koch have had far less satisfying seasons. And speaking as a very, very, old person, I am not comfortable with identifying one of our own as the "worst player." Sometimes very good players have really unsucessful seasons, or partial seasons, but then so do I in my life have up and down times. Call it semantics, but there is a big difference between saying "PK has had a less than fulfilling season" and "PK had the worst season." Think about someone saying it to your face - which is a better phrase for futurte potential? You are the worst lover/student/child/player on the team VS you have done well in the past for us and this has been an off-year, yes, and we look for better times the rest of this year and next year. How would Dom Helder Camera phrase it?

Queen Prawn
I voted for PK just because I expect more bang for the buck. They always say you are toughest on your favorites!

How would Dom Helder Camera phrase it? 1) Maggs has a lot of GIDP all years in his career. But his numbers....Maggs in 2000 had a monter year. If PK had a great year this year like Maggs does, i would be shut up. But, look at his avg.(.229), HRs(12)...horrible numbers. Maggs is always with a 30 HRs, 100 RBIs season, .300 AVG. PK was an AS last year, so this drives me more mad at him. 2) PK had a good month in July. August has been horrible to him again. .250 AVG in August. 3) I think everybody in here waited a great year from Rios. White was a BP guy, PK is more important than White was. DJ was horrible in the field but hitting he had a better year than PK, with us. Koch comes in second to me, but PK was an AS and is paid much more than Koch is. Koch has a horrible ERA, but has 11 saves, and had a good month or period too. 4) About this: "Think about someone saying it to your face - which is a better phrase for futurte potential? You are the worst lover/student/child/player on the team VS you have done well in the past for us and this has been an off-year, yes, and we look for better times the rest of this year and next year." If i was an athlete that was making millions every year, i would love someone saying in my face that i´m a s*** player because this would get me more pumped up to try to shut some criticals mouth. In the job is the same thing, on the college is the same thing to me. I take that as inspiration to comeback strong. 5) Dom Helder wasnt worried about this... whitesox247
imo Paulie has been the biggest setback but Koch has struggled the most. If Paulie was hitting at all in the first half, we would be at least 4 games up. Koch has been the worst player but we've been able to get on fine without him. cwsox
5) Dom Helder wasnt worried about this... maybe, maybe not!! but he would appreciate the fact that the conversation is so respectful! Always fun talking baseball with you because you always dialogue maturely (you do lose it when someone raps the Brazilian soccer aka football team! ) for a player still on the team - does Koch count on DL - he was the biggest disappointment to me

It´s a passion! A lot of people dont recognize that we have the best soccer in the world...this drives me mad. 2) Every player that played for us this season counts. PK´s numbers are a knife in the eyes... 3) It´s great to be writing in here, i love this site. And is funny when you write something about the homossexual thing... You are always trying to educate the others...
MurcieOne
A.Rowand hands down he f***ing sucks Shudn't that be in green? Aaron was killin the ball after being re-called... then we got carl and he lost his job. Aaron is a dependable late-inning outfield replacement, and pinch runner. He's not great....but he's FAR from the worst player on the team this year.

Al Lopez Ghost (old)
Anybody who says Rowand sucks is seeing a different Aaron Rowand from the guy I've seen. I think he's done a great job in a difficult role, and does a lot of the little things well. Also one big thing - a homer against the Cubs to tie that Saturday USCF game. greg775
1.) Koch. 2.) Rios. 3.) Harris. 4.) Jimenez. 5.) Paulie (I like this guy even though he stunk early). 6.) White. 7.) Wright Not to be so negative. The best seasons in my mind have been turned in by: 1.) Maggs/Loaiza tie. 3.) Frankie Thomas. 4.) CLee. 5.) Sandy/Olivo combo. 6.) Robbie. 7.) Mark B after the 2-10. 8.) Valentin for clutch hits. 9.) Crede. 10.) Marte/Gordon. 11.) Jon Garland. I've probably forgotten somebody having a good year. Remind me if I have. dunk you very much
whitesox247
Marte/Gordon needs to be alot higher on that list. 3rd or 4th at least.
