Vote for the Sox (and Bears, Hawks and Bulls)

I don't listen to Colin Cowherd because I can't stand him, but I did hear that he is running a bracket pitting franchises across various sports against each other with the winners in each round decided by vote. Please vote and pass the message along to all Sox fans you know.

Everybody on Soxtalk should go here: http://espn.go.com/espnradio/bracket?id=9030976

Everybody on Soxtalk except GoSox05 should also go here: http://espn.go.com/espnradio/bracket?id=9028373

quick question, why bother with his contest if we don't give a crap about what he has to say anyways? Not trying to be a dick or anything, just curious.

A lot of people do listen to him, and more mentions of Chicago teams is never a bad thing.

I haven't heard Cowherd in a few years but c'mon we're losing to the f***ing Indians.

Good, that means our fans are smart enough to stay the hell away from Colin Blowhard. (or do you prefer Cowturd?)

I rarely do any of these type of things but we cannot lose to the Indians. The Indians are from Cleveland. Losing to the Yankees in the 2nd round would be much more acceptable.

It's 50/50 after +11,00 votes. Get on your twitters and facebooks and spread the word for the Sox.

But whatever you do, don't get on your MySpace. The entire Cubs fanbase will see and vote against us.

I don't usually post to add anything this unproductive (unless it's a joke). However, I think this deserves an exception:

No.

OK, I'm going to ask the obvious question of; wtf is the point?

Not to lose to the Indians.

Does it really matter if more Indians fans vote in a completely meaningless and pointless contest that's designed to get hits for a website as well as a pathetic attempt to grow the fan base for a talk show? This is one vote I'd be more than happy to lose seeing as how it means absolutely nothing. The less Sox fans chime in, the smarter the overall fan base.
