hogan873
So, there are still 4 catchers in camp. I assume one is Nieto. Since he was a Rule 5 pick, if the Sox send him to the minors he goes back to the original team? Is that how it works? And is that the only reason he's still in camp? Yes, if the Sox don't keep Nieto in the majors they have to offer him back to the Nats for $25K or work out a trade. There would still be 4 catchers in camp at this point regardless, and there are usually three right up until the last day of ST.
ScottyDo
Aww, I was looking forward to seeing more of Sanchez. I'm enjoying watching the MI's this ST.
flavum
If Nestor Molina is Marco Paddy's biggest mistake, I'm ok with that.
NorthSideSox72
No surprises. With Downs a lock (barring injury), the LOOGY battle is down to Veal and Purcey. Veal is out of options and probably has the inside track.

It's just that we won't be able to judge him on the LA spects for several years, so this is what we got, for now.

It may be my favorite position now.

I bet there are a bunch of kids in the minors who would love it right now.
