June 12, 201411 yr With 66 games now complete, the Sox have yet to be more than 2 games over .500 or more than 3 games under .500 at any point during the season. Predictions: After which game during the season (if at all) does this streak end? Which way, up or down, will it be broken? I say that Thursday, June 19, the Sox reach 3 games over for the first time.
June 12, 201411 yr I'll say 4-2 the next six to get to 37-35, and then win 3 out of 4 in Minnesota. Same...June 19 That 11-game road trip to Minnesota, Baltimore, and Toronto could make or break. But they'll probably go 5-6 or 6-5 and games will just come off the schedule. Edited June 12, 201411 yr by flavum
June 12, 201411 yr I think this team's ceiling is .500 so I think it's entirely possibly things could go south in a hurry still and just like that we'll be 10 under .500. We shall see, though.

June 12, 201411 yr I would just like to credit you for using the proper "toeing" and not "towing" which is commonly misused. And I agree, I think the Sox can yo-yo below/above .500 by a few games either way all season. But you never know...could get hot. Seems like we've already endured our share of injuries and oddities, like a bullpen that forgot when the season started.

June 13, 201411 yr The question is, are they more likely to go on an 8/10 win streak, or an 8/10 losing streak. Because it will come.
