Giancarlo Stanton's contract includes an opt-out after the sixth season, source confirms. The deal has full no-trade protection.

So, Stanton's opt-out is after the 2020 season.

Hope he can feed his family on that salary.

I love that for the Marlins. If he opts out, he only makes money if he does better than 7 years, ~$220 million. Now, if his skills regress, that makes the contract harder to trade every year, so they have that to worry about.
