December 13, 201411 yr I think the real question is whether to expect John Danks to continue to show improvement in strength and endurance in the 2nd or 3rd year of recovery from a major surgery? Evidence shows it can and has happened with others. As John learns to be a PITCHER more than just a thrower that may help also. It's a coin flip I know but I am thinking that's what the Sox are counting on. Noesi needs the starting experience and to build endurance to get him past the 6th inning or so effectiveness wise. They are both just fine in the 4th or 5th starting role at this point anyway. Edited December 13, 201411 yr by elrockinMT
