Committed $25 million to him last February, he's 24 years old. Great glove, supposedly. He hit really well in AAA, got in a fight, then was sent to AA and couldn't hit a lick after that. Very odd.

well he is a glove only kind of a player who may play above avg defense at SS. his

bat is really bad, can he improve, only the baseball gods and the baseball experts

Jokes aside I don't think depth at SS is a pressing issue. He's an interesting name based on how much the Dodgers invested in him (and the aforementioned Melton pronunciation) but I think there are more immediate needs than what he can potentially provide.
