They just signed him to an extension. Relax. He's not going anywhere.

Eaton's numbers have, slowly, been going up all year. A few blips down on the way up, but still:

That doesn't even cover Micah or Soto.

 

Eaton's a problem, but far from the biggest. I'd almost argue that not having a super-reliable RH reliever for the 8th inning is becoming even more of an issue, as it's forcing Robertson into extended 4 out saves.

He has 11 walks in 167 plate appearances. He has one stolen base. I still think his 4 RBI total is embarrassing but last time I brought that up I got mocked as lead off guys aren't supposed to knock in runs. Still ... four RBIs in 167 plate appearances to me is kind of lousy.

Yeah, I really do not know how many opportunities he's had. He's OK but he needs to draw some walks or his career on base percentage is going to be awful beyond belief.

Last year, he drew 8% of walks, this year he is at 7.1%. I believe that's actually league average
