I've been to 5 games since I've been back home & the fans are just awesome! Even when there was only 20K the place was loud as hell & I know the players feed off that. I know it helps too to have the fans on their feet every time they are about to finish off an inning too. Anyone who says there are better fans than south siders is f***ing stupid.

IMHO. We win tomorrow, and we have Loaiza going on Thursday for number 20 AND the sweep. We need the Jon Garland we saw against Boston a few season back tomorrow for sure.

Garland was really strong his last time out so I think he'll be fine. The offense needs to back him up though, no more 1 or 2 run efforts.

The Twinkies have looked pretty pathetic the past two days though except against Paniagua the meatballer.

September 10, 200322 yr Let's hope Jon keeps the momentum going so we can put yet another nail in da Twinkies coffin. Correct he's made 3 quality starts, but until he really performs in big, huge important games like this 1 he's always gonna have us fans wondering whether Jon or Judy is gonna show up. I think that type of criticism he gets is pretty unwarranted cos I know LOTS of teams would luv to hav Jon Garland into their rotation, including St. Louis who enquired about him when he was struggling early in da year. But let's not get ahead of ourselves and think we're instantly gonna get a sweep. Santana's hard to hit and Jon will have to be at da top of his game for us to be in with a show. Da Twinkies could win da last 2 games of this series and we could be back dead even with them. At least we all know now that the Royals r dead and buried. September 10, 200322 yr I have had increasing confidence on Jon Garland as the year went along. I think those quick hooks by JM has made JG realize he has to focus at all times. He's really been pitching well lately. C'mon JonnyG, let's put this Judy talk where it belongs..... in the past.
September 10, 200322 yr The Twins will be tougher than ever. Don't forget we got a huge break on that call at third. We have a big edge on them in terms of power, though. It's all on Jon, and us scratching out some runs. And don't underestimate Radke either on Thursday. If we manage the sweep, it will be just this side of an unbelievable accomplishment. To paraphrase Andy the Clown "CMOOOOOOOOOOOOON You Walkups!"
