Unique interview with Pitching Coach Jose Bautista (Class A)

Featured Replies

So this article has interviews with two pitching prospects (Thad Lowry, Connor Walsh) that are quite good, but the unique piece is the interview with Jose Bautista. He's the PC for Kannapolis, and he was unuually honest in his answers on some things. It's a really important look into how things go in A-ball, in player development.

Give it a read!

Wow, that is a really candid interview from the pitching coach.

Will, that was a fantastic piece. One of the most informative reads I've seen. Very candid info from Bautista. Some definite great stuff in their regarding Spencer and Almonte and their development and just a good healthy dose of reality.

Awesome. great questions and follow ups

That was a good read. I wish I knew more about how he changed Spencer Adams' mechanics and how Adams resisted the changes. I hope he's right.

Maybe pitching coaches elsewhere would also be good interviews.

Thanks, I enjoyed this!

Thank you for the feedback! Bautista was great.
