Sale's Month of June

For anyone who didn't want to read those glowing numbers, in the month of June, Sale had the most dominant Fastball....Change-up.....AND slider. They credit him with throwing a sinker as well, but I think that's just the computer systems fudging data or him slipping with a pitch.

The most interesting thing of note you may not have EVER guessed? Check the table at the bottom and see who threw the most valuable splitter in June...

He has a 2 seamer in MLB the Show, I'm assuming he pulls that out every once in a while and it has a sinker type movement to it.

Good read. Btw...I think you meant the best splitter in month of June, not sinker

And he basically had no spring training. He got beat around a little bit after a good start this year, and I think not being able to pitch in soring training was the culprit. His overall numbers are obviously outstanding, but I am thinking if he doesn't hurt himself in March, they are probably even better.

In his last 12 starts Sale has the following stats:

92 IP

56 H

13 BB

131 K

18 ER

WHIP 0.75

ERA 1.76

K/9 12.81

BB/9 1.27

K:BB 10.07

The Sox are 8-4 in those starts.
