winninguglyin83
Let's see you have the White Sox and Twins playing a critical game tonight with the AL Central in the balance And you have the Yankees playing the Detroit Tigers, who are playing for nothing more than the worst record in baseball history. Which game would a sensible baseball fan think is the most meaninful? You guessed wrong: ESPN is carrying Yankees-Tigers on a day when they also featured their darling Red Sox in the afternoon. I'm convinced they would show clips of Jason Giambi and Derek Jeter taking BP and Pedro getting his nails buffed before they'd show a Sox game that did not involve the Yankees or Red Sox. It's absurd -- and annoying.

I hate ESPN, instead of showing a great game like Sox vs Twins, they show for the world not just US, THE GREAT TIGERS VS nyy!

ESPN should make the adjustment, instead of the clubs.
The Critic
I prefer to call them the Eastern States Propaganda Network. ...although their undying love for all things Barry is a bit of a wrench in the East Coast bias....could it be from his Pittsburgh days?? winninguglyin83
whatever the problem, they give the Sox little love only appearance on Sunday night baseball was that hideous rain-shortened game against Seattle in May meanwhile 157 of the Yankees 162 games have been on
Chisoxfn
I figured for sure this game would be nationally televised.
winninguglyin83
nah Yankees fans had to have the option of watching them score 15 against the Tigers on ESPN or on the YESSS network
SuperSteve
I gave up on ESPN. All there shows are garbage. I can only watch so much Kobe, Baylor, and other junk for so long. I don't even watch PTI anymore, and I used to love that show.

Needless to say, that wasn't the best time I had at the park. Neither was our drive home - I couldn't see anything on the DR cuz of the stupid rain. Queen Prawn
ESPN sucks for all the sports teams they incessantly show. In hockey it's always the dead things, in basketball...I have no idea, I hate basketball, baseball it's either Spankees, or the Red Sox and it seems like the main college football teams shown are the Hurricanes or the Gators, then agian they do show lots of college ball now... DBAHO
I've lost of a lot of respect for ESPN over the past few weeks especially the idiots who run Sportscenter. I mean last night for instance, big big game b/w the White Sox and Twinkies and it doesn't come on until halfway through da show. What's up wit that? It's all NL, NL, NL for da first half an hour. I think even Inside da Huddle was on bf it, nobody cares about that. Hellooo.... there's other teams in this competition too ya know. I can't stand that Linda Kohn either, she has the most annoying voice for a sports presenter u will ever hear.
