no slider Chris Sale

Featured Replies

A) why isn't he throwing his slider? B) Cooper seems to be a lot better with lefties than righties. Most of the pictures that he's jettisoned have been righties

Guys, Steph Curry without his jump shot isn't very good.

I personally think everyone is overreacting here. Look at that awful game he had against Minnesota earlier this year, or even the games against Boston or Tampa for that matter. He struggled, and everyone said that something was wrong. He then proceeded to go back to his dominant form.

This will be no different. Hell, if the Sox had won yesterday, I don't think this thread would've even been made.

Seriously, right? The guy gives up 3ER in 7IP without his best slider. Most pitchers would take those numbers on a good day with their best stuff. Some Sox fans have become spoiled by what Sale did during that amazing stretch he had.

Talk about making something out of nothing.

Agreed, this thread is dumb.

When a pitcher only gives up 3 runs and has a quality start, the team is supposed to win. The problem is the Sox offense, not a Chris Sale start that involved giving up a few runs. He can't shut out the other team every time.
