Does anyone know how YES network works? Does it take like a third of games or something? I can't imagine all the games being on a Cubs network.

YES has almost all of the games. There are maybe a dozen or so that's on an OTA network, but other than that it's all YES.

Dosent that mean their ownership of CSN reverts to Reinsdorf alongside the Blackhawks?

Good news for us

I guess I shouldn't be surprised the Cubs only care about the big bucks instead of fans and viewership. Cubs fans will show up anyway.

Honestly, the Sox and Cubs are in the minority here. Most teams have the vast majority of their games on a cable network. I know the Cardinals are entirely on Fox Sports Midwest.

Why isn't there a Fox Sports Chicago?

There was until the main teams broke off and formed their own cable network. Then all of their products were gone and they folded.

I believe they have the first option to purchase that right.
