Will post the mlb network article when I can find it. So at this point Sox have 4 players in the top ten at each position in cf, 3rd base, 1st baseman and starting pitcher

1.) Donaldson

2.) Bryant

3.) Beltre

4.) Machado

5.) Turner

6.) Arenado

7.) Kang

8.) Carpenter

9.) Seager

10.) Frazier

 

Would personally put Arenado and Frazier higher

3B is such a deep position in the league right now. That's a great top 10.

All of these mlb network rankings have been a bit wacky so far. Too much emphasis on small sample results in some cases.

6-10 can pretty much be in order with the 5 other guys they mentioned. Not a lot of difference between them.

Carpenter is definitely underrated.

I don't know how anyone can have Machado lower than #2. He's even younger than Bryant too.

Seems like kind of a golden age for 3B. Lot of talent.
