Lots of White Sox names in the Top 60.

 

Unfortunately Rowand and Crede were the only ones to make it...Buehrle the year before.

 

Others just off the list were Barcelo, Josh Fogg, Biddle and Stumm.

It's actually 10 years later. The article is 5 years old. But the point remains the same, prospects break your heart.

 

The Sox had plenty of highly ranked guys that didn't pan out. I totally forgot about Rauch. After winning in 2000 the Sox were expected to be the team of the next decade with Rauch being a right handed Randy Johnson, and Jon Garland being the next coming of Kevin Brown. At least they won once.
