May 4, 20169 yr Good article, the top comment sums it up perfectly. The beauty of this is, if those batted balls start finding soft spots on the field, Sale can always revert back to his approach from previous years – or at least some incarnation of that – with great success.
May 4, 20169 yr Not sure our bullpen is as good had sale not given us great, LONG outings when he had. That was a crazy stretch with no days off, our starting pitching going deep was crucial.
