  1. Dessens is dominating us agaaaiiiiiiiiin. Geeze lol. He's looking pretty good.
  2. Hey Clujer is your radio for the game really choppy? Because mine sure is.
  3. Ahh, if I had just read the Soxnet report I would have found out that Loaiza and Rauch are also scheduled to pitch.
  4. I know that in the game against Arizona today it will be Gil Heredia versus Elmer Dessens. This is I believe the 3rd time we'll be facing Dessens. In the other game against Colorado all I know is that we are facing Scott Elarton. Anyone know who else is pitching today?
  5. Yah I saw Piazza's face he was truly livid.
  6. I was looking for a site with stats from minor league spring training but I couldn't find anything. Is minor league spring training basically the same thing as MLB spring training?
  7. There's not a huge point in doing updates for regular season games because there are numerous sites that have game updates and gamecasts. But if you like doing them and people will still look at them why the hell not.
  8. -Joe Valentine is 0-0 with an era of 6.00 in 3 innnings pitched he also has a save. He's only given up 3 hits but he has walked 4 while striking out 2. -Mark Johnson is not doing well so far going 2 for 17. -Foulke was doing good before todays game, he had an era of 1.50 striking out 8 and only walking 2. Although it was a different story giving up homeruns to Joe Crede and Carlos Lee. These stats are from MLB.com and are as of yesterday's games.
  9. I'm not really a huge Bulls fan but that was an awesome game. They look to have a pretty decent future.
  10. Royce Ring is in, awesome. He strikes on the first batter he faces on 3 pitches!!!!
  11. Borchard's definitely going to be starting the season in Triple A.
  12. Way to bounce back Porzio !!!

    Bullpen

"Wunsch Sucks"??? he was probably in the top 5 for 2000 for left handed relievers. And so far this ST he's pitched amazingly. He doesn't deserve to be bashed.
  14. Congratulations guys, it seems like all your hard work is paying off. Thanks for all the reports and recaps and just a place to chat with fellow sox fans.
  15. Great to see Frank really pounding the ball and the pitching getting out of the jams.
  16. I know we were talking about this earlier so here's great article about a pitcher named Steve Dalkowski. Very interesting. http://www.sportingnews.com/archives/sport...ers/175838.html
  17. My dad was telling me about a closer that used to pitch for the Yankees I think the last name was Dearn (not sure). My dad is bias in that he's a yankee fan but he said he was the pitcher who threw the hardest ever. But was also extremely wild.
  18. vs NL rookie of the year Jason Jennings ooooooooooh
  19. Wunsch the strike out leader. Who woulda thunk it.
  20. I believe Munoz has been good except for his one inning last night.
  21. Well that sure isn't going to happen with Olivo batting 071. right now and Alomar batting 625.
  22. For both Gordon and Munoz they've pitched well except for one inning. Still a little to early to tell on lots of the guys.
  23. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/scores/20030309/colcha I'm not sure about this. Cooper was assigned to minor league camp friday yet he pitched today? Could someone explain this to me, or when there is a split squad game do players from minor league camp come up to make a full roster. -Heredia and Rauch both had pretty crappy nights making it look like Loaiza is the favourite for 5th spot -Crede hit his second homer of ST -Ginter pitched another hitless and scoreless inning.
  24. CIA is f***ed up. thats all i could come up with
