Did Paul or Rowand have to clear waivers when they were sent down?

When does a player have to clear waivers before they can be assigned to the minors? After he is a certain age, major league years of experience or like a certain number of callups?

Brian Cooper is also having a great year, any chance of him ever making it to the bigs? I may be wrong but I believe he has some major league experience.

Another good reason for Harris coming to the big leagues is his solid Defense. He hasn't commited an error in 16 games at 2nd base and none in 5 games in Center. He could also play some 2nd base of course with Jimenez hitting so poorly.

The White Sox beat Durham yesterday 3-2 in extras. Parque pitched very well last night with the no decision going 7 IP and allowing only 1 earned run. Joe Borchard went 0-4 while Miles went 2-4 with a donger, Brumbaugh also went 2-4. Willie Harris had a pinch hit solo homerun which I believe was the game winner. Porzio pitched 7 innings of shut out ball while Diaz pitched 2 flawless for the win.
