  1. 5-25 And that's being optimistic. Rick Hahn desperately needs firing before this team can be turned around and the same goes for both Renteria and the hitting coach.
  2. Can the White Sox avoid being swept this series? Can the likes of Alonso & Palka avoid being nothing more than dead weights to the team? Can Eloy prove himself worthy of the superstar money that Hahn decided to lavish upon him instead of going out and getting much needed free agent help? For the answers to these questions and more, tune in today's game.
  3. No, but Davidson had talent as a relief pitcher and yet the Sox let him go anyways while keeping the inferior Palka.
  4. Ever since the Chicago Blackhawks turned things around, you don't hear much about the Chicago Wolves anymore. However, they are finishing up another great regular season and they have clinched another playoff spot. https://www.chicagowolves.com/
  5. And yet we got rid of Davidson and kept Palka.
  6. Leury has a .143 average, but it seems like every time he at least tries to have a good at-bat. I think he's going to get over this slump and turn out to have another good season. Wish I could say that about our other hitters though.
  7. Doesn't Palka look like he's going the home run or nothing route?
  8. The problem with the Sox the past several years is that there are too many DH type players and not enough fielders. In other words, the exact inverse of the Go-Go Sox who had great fielding abilities but poor power hitting.
  9. Eloy swung on 3 pitches that were outside the strike zone.
  10. If Alonso can put up more quality at-bats and get on base, he may yet turn out to be a decent signing.
  11. Palka is strictly DH material. It's only because of Hahn's deficient scouting and player development that he is playing in the field.
  12. No, it's our hitters who are making them look good.
  13. ON what basis is Beltre a certifiable future Hall of Famer? There have been so many players who have been labeled as being definitely HOF material but who subsequently failed to reach the HOF that it isn't funny.
  14. For some weird reason, the Chicago Sun-Times has started regular coverage fo the Chicago Sky WNBA team despite the fact that the Sky has only been in the playoffs four times in its 13-year existence and went deep into those playoffs only once. Meanwhile, the same newspaper has failed to cover the Windy City Bulls despite that team's making the playoffs this year and it has failed to cover the Chicago Wolves despite that team's outstanding season thus far. The paper has also failed to cover the Chicago Fire MLS team or the Chicago Mustangs indoor soccer team. It has also failed to adequately cover the minor league baseball teams in the Chicago area or the indoor football teams around her, not to mention the Chicago Steel junior hockey team. Why is the historically lackluster Sky team getting regular coverage while all these other teams don't get anything?
  15. To be perfectly honest, I don't know what's more outrageous: The way Hahn went about not adding talent to the Sox this offseason. or The way that Kim Foxx handled the Jussie Smollett case.
  16. At least Eloy did something good, yet with a bullpen like ours, it's going to be tough winning anything.
  17. If I wrote that, you'd be asking why do I even post here.
  18. Anderson strikes out on a pitch that's way outside the strike zone.
  19. Looks like Leury knows how to do a proper at-bat. Perhaps he should have gotten the big payday and left Eloy in the minors.
  20. Eloy swung on two pitches in a row that were outside the strike zone.
