I'm not trying to be a problem, high school and college teams count as well correct? But individual sports like Track, Boxing, NASCAR, etc. are out.?

In order to reduce confusion, I'm limiting it to the big 5 sports.

Depending on how this is wrote up, can you make a version that has the list in a more condensed version that we can throw up on the blog (I think that is a pretty cool blog piece).

I didnt participate last time. Is it supposed to be 50 players?

lists of 20 usually can get me 50 guys.

And I struggled so hard with 50....

Actually if we are talking greatest atheltes....IMO they all should be hockey players

I am a little surprised at the make up of my list. Overall, I always felt basketball players are the most athletic, with hockey players close behind. Yet, I think I have more football players than any other category.

As far as most athletic I always thought Hockey players were tops...then football, basketball, baseball. I think you can hide some unatheltic players in football and baseball, even a center in basketball and they can still be great players at their positions, but you can't hide it in hockey....every one is a top athelete.

yeah, I understand but when it comes time to compare a pitcher from 1908, a hockey player from 1961, a football player from 1985, and a basketball player from 1995, athleticism seems to creep into my thought process.

I don't watch hockey (and never have) so my list had no hockey players. I'm sure I forgot a bunch of other guys from the Sox, Cubs, Bears, and Bulls, but we'll see.

I don't have a time to do a write up but would comment on certain players I chose if asked by Tex.

Sent in mine. I found this one kinda difficult, I couldn't really compare a great player from one sport to a great player in another and come out really decided on who was better. It is amazing when you sit down and think about it how many greats have passed through our city... my list could have easily gone much much longer but had to stop myself at 20.
