At least from the Text, Obama seems to have nailed one this morning on the Today Show.

Obama is the one candidate that can call her on it without risking how it comes off too. Good for him.

Exactly. :)

Excellent.

First poll numbers are showing a Hillary bump, post-debate. But there's definitely new life and momentum from the opposition.

In an earlier post you said she looked 'bad, distant and aloof'. That pretty much sums my opinion of Mrs. Clinton.

I think she'd be an adequate President.

I'm just sick of merely adequate people.

The best person that could win, isn't running IMO.

Ok, I'll take the bait. Who would that be?

Where might I find those polls? I don't see any on the big board yet.

He didn't mean me. That's for damn sure. LOL

The Goracle, right?

Correct. But only the non-candidate Al Gore.

Because, as a non-candidate, he's relatively candid about his opinions. And I think he'd make a good president. If he started to run, I'd probably want someone else who isn't running.

:D I agree with that assessment.

He's ready to roll. Go team Goracle.

I'd say that might win you Minnesota, but after 2002 - I doubt that.

That was such a weird election, after the pep rall.. memorial service, I think any Republican would have beaten Mondale.

Mondale was easily the worst Presidential candidate in recent history.

Except for George W. Bush.

Somewhere, George McGovern is pissed at you.

Both made mistakes, but McGovern was just honest about his intentions and failed to moderate himself at all.

On the other hand, Mondale started out his general election bid by promising to raise taxes. Whoops.

So Hillary has slipped 6 points since the Demo debate where Edwards and Obama really took it to her, and then she cried victim.

Trend? Blip?

More important will be the Iowa and NH polls that come out this week, post-debate. The national polls don't mean much right now.

But, since national polls are all we have right now, I'll throw this one in there too. In this case, Clinton's lead nationally has shrunk from 30 points to 19 points within a month. That's a pretty significant drop.
