Yeah, and we missed two very real opportunities to gain games on Boston/Texas the past couple of days.

Off the bat, I thought that was a hit for Yoan and we'd at least get a chance to root for an Abreu HR

On a team with a respectable staff, he would have been. Yes. However, like you said. With what we've gotten from the guys we've attempted to run out there on the back end of the rotation. There was no way. Especially seeing the decent season he was coming off of. They were always going to stick with him.

Yeah, you're probably right. He's probably Despaigne in a different form.

Yeah, but those guys were never going to be replaced.

No doubt. I don't know what was up with that dude from a clubhouse standpoint, but there's no way he could have been worse than Despaigne or Banuelos.

This series may be the most frustrating so far. You can point to so many missed opportunities throughout each of the three games. Even the first one, which we won. That win felt like a trip to the dentist. These other two have felt like a colonoscopy.

Only legit hope would be turning it over to Moncada with a man on. Hoping he runs into one. That's assuming we hold them from here... far from a safe bet.

4-3... right? He missed it with two outs and then Santana hit a two run HR

Yolmer, Cordell and Leury due up? Yeah, barring something weird - I think this is about over, but let's see.

He was a weirdo with a weirdo family... and he sucked at baseball. There was nothing prideful about it, IMO.

I mean, I'm still astonished day in and out at how bad he is. I'll quote Woody Harrelson in True Detective... "Every time I think I've seen it all. You just keep raising the bar. You are the Micheal Jordan of being a son of a b****!"

If Alonso had any pride, he'd retire after this game

Do we even have a right handed hitter on the bench, though?

Okay, so... after Alonso K's... I hope we get a hit

Incredible exit velo will create incredible back spin... and then you get that. Awesome

Glad he got a hit, but Abreu's swing is all arms. Just lean over the plate and flail. He looks like Kirk Gibson with two bad hips out there.

Yoan... please. Let's go guys

Sure... But then you would literally have to have the batter with an ear piece in. At the very least, Ricky with one - so he can signal to the batter. Or... somehow have it in the dugout. Not suspicious or illegal in the least. haha Not only is there clear barriers to pull this off consistently/effectively. You're talking a scandal that would make the "SpyGate" Patriots scandal look like amateur child's play. Not only would we CLEARLY get caught, but we would be in a WOOOORRRLLLD of shit.

Okay, it seemed to me like you were saying that Stone somehow has an advantage himself (using the delay to cheat) when looking for signs. If that wasn't the case - my fault. Misunderstanding.
