Gut wrenching loss yesterday, but baseball is gonna baseball. Can't expect terrible starting pitchers to produce. It'd be awesome to win today. 

Anyone else think Alonso is getting his last run of starts and will be released in the next couple weeks?  It’s moderately annoying that Collins is on the bench in favor of Yonder, especially since Zack could have played 1B with Abreu DHing.

I hope you are right.  Agree it wouldn't hurt to give Collins the at bats.  Hard to develop on the bench.

Yonder now tied with Starlin Castro for worst season in MLB, -1 fWAR.  At least Castro is a fucking SS.

It's not every day teams puts it's only 2 catchers in the starting lineup every day so Alonso playing is expected. Can't really blame Ricky for using the players on the roster. If you want to blame Hahn on the other hand...

Collins being benched this early is a fucking joke.

I agree that Collins should be playing today . . . . but don't you think McCann should have pitch-hit for Collins in the 9th inning last night? I saw one guy brought it up when it happened last night, but that was the only comment I saw?

Getting tired of jose being worthless... if our best hitter isn't going to hit we really have a lot less chance of overcoming all the other shortcomings.

It's aggravating because he'll have a few games where he demolishes the ball and brings his numbers back up, then he goes on horrible cold streaks where he is Yonder Alonso bad.
