6/5- Sox at Twins doubleheader, 3:10
There's worse. His nomenclature annoys me sometimes, but overall... he's serviceable at the job.

Yeah, but you're going to have to stretch some things out to the limit in doubleheaders when you don't have a good/deep pen. If you have a starter who is rolling, let him roll for all he's worth. IMO

Maybe we can actually get our best pitcher a 2nd win, finally. lol

Great, great job Lopez. One more in him? We're through the worst of the lineup. I say send him out with a short leash.

The Sano AB was a clinic on bad catching. Says a lot about how well Lopez is pitching, that he struck him out... what? 3 different times in that AB?

Ah, true. Sorry, I had a brain fart there. Just very discouraged with Gio.

So far, this has been a fantastic and much needed bounce back performance by Rey-Lo. Good to see. Especially seeing as he may be able to eat up 8 innings in the front-end of a double-header.

Right now, Covey needs to stick in the rotation and Giolito goes by the wayside once Rodon is back. It pains me to say that, but it's the truth.

6/3 Brewers at White Sox, 1:10, WGN
Yeah, maybe they get some people just surprised by the price when they reach the counter or hear it from the aisle vendor. No sense in complaining to them, though. They just pour the beer.

Holy hyperbole... No one is saying it's a crime. No one is saying you have to buy it. In fact, multiple posters (myself included) have said they reason they keep pushing - is because the fans keep buying. We're simply guys who enjoy drinking a beer at a ball game, having a conversation... but thanks for your nuggets of wisdom "dad".

Ha... I mean, I'm sure there's a line. 20 is probably over it. Looks like sports team owners are determined to find out exactly where that line is, though. Maybe we're there now? If it hit 15... I'd probably have to turn it away. Just on account of having a little dignity. 45 bucks for 3 beers at a ball game. lol Arthur Blank is making his new arenas sell concessions at reasonable prices. Maybe they do really well and it cues the rest of em.

Eh... they can't. You just can't buy tickets under your name. Someone else gets the tickets, they're not going to remember you at the gate or anything. haha

Based upon that he likes him personally and probably hasn't watched nearly as much White Sox baseball this year.

Probably unaware of how harsh the consequences are. You get in a HEEP of legal trouble and banned for life from the park for doing that. It ain't a joke, in the least. Regardless, total f'n idiot. Yeah

LOL It was a member of this forum who was reading the thread and decided ENOUGH IS ENOUGH with the beer prices!

Am I dreaming or was Trayce Thompson just intentionally walked? Lol... I know a lefty is next, but good god. Like walking the special needs kid in little league

The problem is... They know people are going to want beer at a ball game (pretty much) no matter what. People pay it.

You mean just at bars? 3-3.50 for a domestic bottle typically. Little more at a high-end spot, obviously. If you're talking about the Bacardi Lounge connecting to the stadium or stuff like that... It's not much different from the inside. I forget the name of the spot walking distance from the Stadium in Bridgeport. Was only there once. Had PBR cans for 2 bucks a pop. lol
