Well, it goes for both he and Anderson. Neither at this point has solidified taking claim at their positions. Anderson having the longer opportunity. And with how players develop in our Farm, I'd take the wait and see approach on Madrigal also.

There is not a single "sure thing" so far from any of these young players. Very disappointing.

The biggest issue for Lopez right now IMO is not being able to put hitters away with that stuff. And by that I mean mastering the art of missing more bats. For his stuff, he should easily be a 1:1 Ks per Inning type of pitcher.
