I'd like... Luke Wypler OC Andre Carter DE Isaiah McGuire DE KJ Henry DE Jaylon Jones CB I'm with Chisoxfn in that I can wait on the center, but Wypler might be too good to pass up. I like Whitehair, but he's only got 1 year left and is getting old. Bears have a ton of guys at DT, but DE is still a huge question mark to me. Wish I knew what the NW kids medicals were. He's gotta be worth a shot at some point!

Good call Mel.
-
I dont hate it. A great secondary will make a mediocre DL look better.
-
Minny OC here?? Still wouldn't mind the NW guy.
-
Not a fan. There goes Tuli.
-
Gimme the NW kid! Or Tuli from USC.
-
To me it all depends on how they value the DLineman left. If they think a guy like the NW kid or someone else as a first round talent, I'd definitely give up a couple 4th to move up. Also interested to know what the Bears think of Whitehair/Pack guy at OC. If they like em, maybe they wait on OC.

I don't think I've seen an optimistic post from him period. I saw he was posting and I was ready to respond. Idk how I feel about this. Lol. Really hope the Northwestern guy falls. I'd even think about trading up for him. But yeah like someone else said I'm hoping for 2 DL and a center(preferably Tippman)

Lions scared me with what they coulda did in the 1st round of this draft. They took a RB and an off ball LB. Not that scared anymore.
-
19 straight games without a sack is impressive. Some people might bring up his size and why they didn't just sign Brown Jr... Brown Jr ran a 5.85 40, Wright ran a 5.01.
-
Darnell Wright eh? Definitely heard a TON of hype on him the last few weeks. Reddick called him the best OT in the draft. I don't hate it. I grew to like him more than Skoronski.
-
Mannnnn. It's gonna be Skoronski isn't it?
-
A 2024 4th? Weakkkkk
-
They traded back 1 spot.
-
Go with Carter!
-
Bijan would be insanely fun, but yeah, it's gotta be OL/DL. Pipe dream is a trade back with Pittsburgh to get 32 back and one of the 4 OTs are there. I don't think there's a large disparity between the 4 so I'd have no issues with any trade back. No issues taking Carter if he's there. I think Kancey will be the surprise of the draft and he goes top 15.
-
Really hope the Bears and Steelers rumors are true. Trading down to 17 to get 32 back would be huge....Even if it means trading 64 to make it happen. I think there's a really good shot one of the 4 OTs are still there.

Ask and I shall receive, I guess. Bears sign DL Rasheem Green. His draft write up looks super encouraging. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/rasheem-green/32004752-4533-0410-c75b-6bf0940b540a Dude has played all over the place. Looked up his highlights and the first thing I noticed is he had 2 sacks against the Bears coming from the DT position. Still just 25 years old. I think he's in play for 3T if the draft doesn't fall their way. Played on a Seahawks line with Poona Ford who I still think the Bears should sign.

I need more NFL talk in my life. Right now I'm hoping they can trade down again and find a high 2nd in return. To me, with questions about Skoronski's arm length, I don't think there's a big difference between him, Paris, and Broderick. The Tennessee OT is intriguing as well. I'd feel comfortable going down another 10 spots if they can get a high 2nd.
-
Was DJ Fluker ever any good in the NFL? He's trying to make a comeback and he's in ridiculously good shape. Would you take a chance on him? I'd still wanna take an OT very early, but maybe bringing him in means you don't necessarily have to take one in the 1st.
-
I definitely don't see him going 10, but I would not be shocked if he was gone before the Bears 2nd round pick nor would I be shocked if he went late in the 1st. Guy had a ridiculous day at the combine and someone's gonna put some stock into that.
-
Mel Kiper just said the Northwestern DLineman, who I won't even try spelling, could go as high as TEN in the draft! I know he blew up the combine, but damn! The PFF mocks routinely have him available for the Bears in the 2nd round.
-
They reallllly can be scary. Bears SHOULD be right up there with them in 2024. It's gonna be a fun little rivalry for years.
-
That's fine. I really do think Jones can be pretty dang good if he just gets stronger which is possibly. I'm content giving him LT for another year.
-
I think it's pretty clear that that is the plan. Definitely not a bad plan either. I know you like to go into the draft looking at BPA and not forcing yourself into a position, but this really works out.
